Alma de Chiapas, Chiapas, Mexico

Mexico Chiapas — Single Origin

Some cups carry a story bigger than the bean itself.

This coffee comes from the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico — one of the most storied coffee-growing regions in the world — where 599 farmers tend 1,654 hectares of land at elevations between 1,000 and 1,800 meters. Many of them are part of Alma de Chiapas, a cooperative built not just to sell coffee, but to transform the communities growing it. Through fair trade certification, business coaching, financial training, and quality management, Alma de Chiapas equips each farmer to eventually stand on their own as an independent member of Impacto Transformador — a larger movement of dignified, sustainable trade.

There's intention behind every cup. The coffee is fully washed, allowing the natural sweetness of the bean to shine through without distraction. What you get is exactly what the name promises: something rich, clean, and honest. A creamy body opens into layers of dark chocolate and ripe cherry, with a quiet note of orange and a finish that lingers gently — sweet and unhurried.

This is coffee grown by people working toward something. We think that's worth savoring.
